This became a running joke in the art workshops Claudia and I used to lead. It was my standard line. But it's true! I don't think I've ever completed a painting or collage without it. Why would I? There's something about magenta that brings out the best in all the other colors. Here in northern California the rain is supposed to start tomorrow. We've been sunny and dry for I can't even remember how long. If it's gray or snowy or slushy where you are, let this splash of fiery pink lift your spirits and brighten your winter day!
